I receive emails all the time from persons claiming that have sold out of the latest and greatest software. It’s like those furniture stores that claim they are having a going out of business sale, but they never go out of business.
Sure enough you go to their website and there is a "Sorry, we sold out" message displayed. But …
They will give you a last shot at getting the software by scheduling another webinar or event on a particular day. In the meantime they want you to give up your email address so that they can contact you when the event has been scheduled. Right!
This leads you to believe that this must be some pretty good software if it sold out so quickly. Beware, you are being baited.
How do you run out of software that persons download? You can’t! It’s not that this software is being packaged on a CD. People are downloading the same file multiple times.
Persons who feel compelled to resort to these types of techniques to sell their products insult the intellect. These guys have convinced themselves that this is good Internet Marketing; when what it really is, is con-artistry.
Why not just be forthcoming and sell the product explaining the product and it’s features by using a good sales letter and stop imagining that you are more clever than everyone else by using these under-handed tricks.
