Ever start printing and then decide you want to cancel the job but can’t?
You try recycling the printer AC power and the printer continues printing? Here is what you can do:
Stop and restart the print spooler. I have created a small batch file that will do this for you; all you have to do is place it in your c:\drive, go to a DOS prompt and run it. If this is a little too technical for some of you, please view the video below.
Download the DeletePrintJobs.cmd batch file here. (Make sure to unzip the file)
Your Steps are:
- Download the DeletePrintJobs.cmd batch file.
- Place the batch file inside your C:\ Drive
- Unplug the AC power from your printer. Plug it back in.
- Go to Start/Run to open up the run dialog window.
- Type the letters cmd to open a DOS window.
- Type cd \ then press the enter key.
- Type DeletePrintJobs.cmd and press the enter key.
- Unplug the AC power from your printer. Plug it back in.
This will Start and Re-Start the Print Spooler. This will flush out those print jobs.

I presently possess a Lexmark, I’m OK while using good quality but I’m extremely unhappy with how fast it goes by way of ink. I require some thing that will print excellent paperwork and not drain me dry with the price of ink.
I really liked the way they came off
